This has got to be the best year with Pumpkin so far. We have been on our first overseas trip to Waregem in Belgium, where we were placed 3rd in a massive class, and achieved highest placed British rider in my grade. We not only cracked our 70% target but continued to achieve this throughout the year. we went on to win our first 3* international at Bishop Burton CPEDI   smashing my personal best. In October, Keysoe CPEDI was an added delight when I was chosen to be part of the nations cup for Team GB and with a win for the team I couldn’t stop beaming. This year has been so good it has seen me and Pumpkin shoot to the top of the FEI rankings and we are currently the highest ranked grade IV in the UK and 6th in the world. My ginger ninja miss pocket rocket has continued to improve all year and is showing she is already stepping up another level ready for the new year and Winter championships.

Rodney has made his international debut this year at 1* and has shown a great ability to cope with the big stage. Super excited about him and our future. We have been privileged to attend a demo day recently and despite some separation issues both Rodney and Pumpkin worked really well, and it was great to get out just before the seasonal brake.

The icing on the cake this year is when all my hard work and super results have paid off and been recognised and I have been invited to move up to the world class podium potential on the 1st of January and start my campaign towards Tokyo. I am so excited and grateful to receive this support and I have already started packing the lorry for the first squad session in February.
